Our farm tours can be tailored to your interests. Some possibilities that you will encounter:

• A hand built straw bale casita - an example of natural building using salvaged and local materials
• An outdoor cob kitchen with a wood-fired oven, rocket stove and fire pit
• A 4.8 KW solar system and Eco-Shake® roof
• An orchard with dozens of varieties of stone fruits, apples, pears and other unusual fruits
• Examples of grafted trees at different stages of development
• A no-turn compost system
• A worm bin with worm tea catchment
• A mobile chicken coop AKA “hen mobile”
• Several permaculture principles at work
• Medicinal and culinary herbs,veggies and edible flowers
• Tasting as you go

Fresh produce is available for purchase 8 months of the year.

Nursery plants available - table grape and berry starts, medicinal and culinary herbs, interesting perennials.

Farm Tours - $15.00/person, $30.00 minimum, children under 18 are free. Special group rates available. By appointment only.

Golden Nectar Farm is also available for horticultural therapy, retreats, school groups, classes, workshops, and special events.
